Who?

My name is Austin Brooks.

What?

I'm a college student majoring in Education, who is also a passionate photographer.

When?

I started my photography journey in high school. I was blessed to have a school system that offered a Visual/Audio productions course. Through that course, I truly fell in love with photography. That was approximately 3 years ago. During high school, we were provided a camera, but upon graduation, I had to save some funds to buy my own. I've had my own camera for about a year now and am ready to take my creativity to the next level.

Where?

I was born and raised in Dyersburg, TN. I graduated from Dyersburg High School in May of 2024. I'm currently attending college at the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Why?

I've always been someone who could see the beauty in different depictions of art. At a young age, I always wanted to be an artist, but as I grew older, my life goal transitioned. Since my junior year of high school, I've been pursuing a profession that truly allows me to make an impact on the youth. I will be going into the field of education. With this in mind, my creativity has never dwindled. When I discovered photography, I knew it was something I wanted to do long-term, at least as a hobby. Now that I've gained a vast amount of experience in handling a camera. I'm ready to embark on this new journey. Starting my own photography business, A.B. Imagery.
